Job Description

Plan, develop, and optimize assembly processes for automotive production lines to ensure efficiency, quality, and cost targets
Design and update work instructions (WI), SOPs, and process flow for assembly operations
Monitor daily production performance and troubleshoot issues related to manpower, machines, materials, and methods (4M)
Analyze production problems and implement root cause analysis using tools such as 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagram, and PDCA
Drive continuous improvement initiatives (Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S) to improve productivity and reduce waste
Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Quality, Maintenance, Logistics, Engineering) to ensure smooth production flow
Support New Product Introduction (NPI) and ensure assembly line readiness (line setup, tooling, process validation)
Balance production lines and optimize cycle time, manpower allocation, and layout
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards
Monitor and report KPIs such as productivity, line efficiency, downtime, and defect rate

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related fields
Minimum 2–3 years of experience in automotive assembly or manufacturing environment
Strong understanding of assembly processes, production line setup, and line balancing
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, and basic Industrial Engineering concepts
Familiar with problem-solving tools (5 Whys, Fishbone, PDCA)
Ability to read technical drawings and understand product structure (BOM)
Good analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced production environment
Basic English communication skills; proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
