General description: The Production Engineer is responsible for optimizing and monitoring machines, processes, systems, and organizational structures throughout the product lifecycle to ensure continuous improvement and enhance the company’s competitiveness.

• Plan, prepare and execute cost-saving, process improvement and continuous improvement projects for existing machines, processes and systems, including OEE improvement.
• Conduct machine capability and process capability studies for new and existing products.
• Support new product / new process introduction, machine installation, process validation and production ramp-up.
• Develop, update and maintain work instructions, SOPs, standard work and process documentation.
• Train operators and production employees on new products, new processes, process requirements and work instructions.
• Apply Lean / Six Sigma methods and tools such as DMAIC, PDCA, 5 Why, Fishbone, Pareto, VSM and OEE analysis.
• Support PFMEA, Control Plan, process flow, routing, costing and other process-related data.
• Work closely with Production, Quality, Maintenance and Engineering teams to identify root causes and implement sustainable corrective actions.
• Support machine / equipment investment projects and continuous improvement initiatives, including Industry 4.0 activities where applicable.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in Production, Process or Manufacturing Engineering.
• Technical: Experience in CNC, stamping or welding is highly preferred.
• Quality System: Knowledge of IATF 16949 and the Automotive 5 Core Tools is a strong advantage.
• Lean / Six Sigma: Knowledge or project implementation experience is preferred.
• Language: Good English communication skills and the ability to read and understand technical documents.
• IT Skills: Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of Minitab, CAD, ERP / MES or programming is an advantage.
• Soft Skills: Teamwork, communication, analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, willingness to learn and continuous improvement in mindset.
