[Production Internship Program 2026] – Sonion Vietnam

Sonion Vietnam is looking for final-year students to join our Production Internship Program 2026, offering hands-on experience in a modern manufacturing environment covering Data, Continuous Improvement, Quality, Engineering, and HSE/ESG.

1️⃣ Acting Shift Leader Intern (Operation)

• Production Alignment: Participate in shift kickoff meetings with Workshop Supervisors (WS) to align on production plans and discuss operational issues.
• Line Monitoring: Monitor production lines directly on the shop floor to track actual progress against targets.
• Data Collection: Gather accurate daily data regarding production output, yields, and product defects.
• Reporting & Systems: Update production reports and KPIs using Excel and ERP systems.
• Problem Solving: Assist the Shift Leader/Team Leader in troubleshooting and resolving unexpected issues arising during the shift.
• Operational Reviews: Join shift/line management meetings to review and evaluate overall production results.

 2️⃣ Acting Shift Leader Intern (Data)

• Monitoring & Analysis: Monitor, analyze, and detect shop-floor abnormalities against targets; investigate, gather data, and report on key metrics such as Machine Performance, Stock Levels, and Abnormal Cycle Time (CT).
• Digitalization & Automation: Support the development of micro-solutions using Power BI / Power Automate / Power Apps to optimize operations (e.g., controlling min/max fixture levels, 3D fixtures, WIP at Over Molding, etc.).
• Ad-hoc Tasks: Execute other tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the line manage

3️⃣ Technical Support Intern:

• Prepare technical drawings for equipment and tools
• Propose and develop new design improvements to enhance existing designs
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

4️⃣ HSE & ESG Intern:

1. Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Support

• Assist in scheduling and participating in HSE inspections at production lines and working areas.
• Record non-conformities, follow up on corrective actions, and support relevant departments during implementation.

2. Reporting and Documentation

• Support data collection and preparation of post-audit / inspection reports.
• Update and maintain HSE records and documentation in compliance with applicable regulations.

3. HSE Training and Communication

• Assist in organizing HSE training sessions, including occupational safety, fire prevention and firefighting (PCCC), and environmental topics.
• Support the development and updating of training materials, guidelines, posters, and HSE communication content.
• Carry out communication activities to raise HSE awareness across the factory.

4. Other Duties

• Support HSE improvement programs, 5S activities, and risk assessments.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the HSE Officer / Manager.

1️⃣ Acting Shift Leader Intern (Operations)

• Final-year student
• Documentation: Must provide an Internship Introduction/Recommendation Letter from their university.
• Available to work full-time during working shifts for at least 4 days per week
• Major: Industrial Management; Industrial System Engineer not require experience.
• Familiar knowledge of products and manufacturing processes.
• Excel Proficiency: Strong command of Microsoft Excel

2️⃣ Acting Shift Leader Intern (Data)

• Final-year student
• Documentation: Must provide an Internship Introduction/Recommendation Letter from their university.
• Available to work full-time during administrative hours for at least 4 days per week
• Basic knowledge of digitalization tools (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps)
• Major in Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, or Industrial Management 

3️⃣ Technical Support Intern:

• Final-year student
• Documentation: Must provide an Internship Introduction/Recommendation Letter from their university.
• Available to work full-time during administrative hours for at least 4 days per week
• Proficient in SolidWorks for 3D mechanical design
• Proficient in using AutoCAD or DraftSight
• Major in Mechanical Engineering (Machine Manufacturing)

4️⃣ HSE & ESG Intern:

Required

• Final-year student
• Documentation: Must provide an Internship Introduction/Recommendation Letter from their university.
• Available to work full-time during working shifts for at least 4 days per week
• Strong interest in occupational safety, environmental protection, and sustainable development

Optional

• Basic knowledge of occupational health and safety (OHS)
• Major in Occupational Safety, Environmental Engineering, or other related engineering disciplines
