Job Description

ROLE OVERVIEW: Production Manager is the person who manages and operates the entire production process, personnel in the Workshop to meet the productivity, quality and schedule set by the Board of Directors as well as on behalf of the company. He/She is the person who will set the target/KPI/Strategy of the entire production to comply with the goal set by the Board of Directors and the future direction of the company.

Budgeting & KPI: 

  • Build and manage annual Opex/Capex for the departments.
  • Set and build quarterly/yearly Departmental KPIs.
  • Build and manage the annual Headcount (HC) Plan with HR to fulfill revenue targets

Planning: 

  • Understand and maximize the production plan with a strict focus on output.
  • Coordinate with the Planning Department regarding capacity, efficiency, and output to meet revenue targets

Future Ready: 

  • Identify improvement opportunities and propose projects that create visible impacts.
  • Adopt and implement an automation transition mindset.
  • Explore current technology and market trends to implement mechanization and digitalization in the factory.

ERP & Compliance

  • Work with the ERP team to design effective SOPs and frameworks for Production Departments.
  • Ensure the team follows company regulations regarding audit requirements (e.g., Nike SCLP, SA8000, ISO 9001, 14001).

Future Ready

  • Identify improvement opportunities and propose projects that create visible impacts.
  • Adopt and implement an automation transition mindset.
  • Explore current technology and market trends to implement mechanization and digitalization in the factory.

Daily Operations

  • Manage product varieties by production line.
  • Collaborate with Line Leaders to ensure smooth production output.
  • Monitor and ensure that productivity and output remain on track
  • Resolve conflicts between Line Leaders and the Technical team.

Job Requirement

  • University degree or above.
  • Having 4 - years’ experience working in the garment / manufacturing industry with the same position-
  • Have knowledge about QC inspecton, Lean factory
  • Understand the work of the parts such as: technical - stamping, cutting, sewing, finishing
  • Experience extensive knowledge of operation/ability to see and mitigate risk/lead initiatives when necessary
  • Fluent English – essential if candidate is to be successful in this position
  • Business development - Identify gaps and create solutions independently/ Look for opportunities to be¬er the business/Use skill set to further the business activity
  • Communication - Conflict resolution/clarity/negotiation
  • Organization - Time management/delegation/distribution of resources
  • Problem Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to take preventive actions
  • People Management: Coaching, mentoring, and employee motivation
  • Leadership: Lead and coordinate Line Leaders, Technical, Mechanic, Cutting, and Finishing teams to achieve company targets
