Job Description

1. Sample Management & Project Intake

  • Receive, check, and validate softlines (Textile, Apparel, Footwear) / hardlines (Furniture, Toys, Hardware) samples against client test request forms (TRF).
  • Review testing protocols and requirements based on specific buyer brands or international standards.
  • Register, log in, process test assignment, and enter samples according to buyer protocol/customer requirements into internal systems such as LIMS, Bluecore, etc.

2. Project Coordination & Timeline Tracking

  • Coordinate daily workflow between customer service, physical/chemical testing labs, and technical report writers.
  • Monitor Turnaround Time (TAT) proactively to ensure testing milestones are met without delays.
  • Troubleshoot operational bottlenecks in the testing process and expedite urgent client requests.

3. Client Services & Technical Support

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for local and international buyers/retailers regarding their testing projects.
  • Explain technical test results, failure analysis, and regulatory compliance requirements to non-technical clients.
  • Report control in internal systems (LIMS, Bluecore, etc.), as well as review, draft, and issue final testing reports.

4. Data & Compliance Management

  • Maintain systematic and accurate archives of project files, test data, and client correspondence.
  • Ensure all coordination activities align with laboratory quality management systems (e.g., ISO 17025).
  • Assist management in tracking Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and preparing client performance reviews

Job Requirement

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Textile/Garment Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in a Project Coordinator position in third-party testing laboratories.
  • Fluent in English (both written and spoken) for daily technical communication with overseas clients.
  • General understanding of hardline testing standards (ISO, ASTM, EN, DIN, GB…), Chemical restriction (RSL/REACH/RoHS…), product safety regulations from different markets such as  Europe/ US/ China ..., and structural/mechanical safety requirements.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (specifically Excel data management) and hands-on experience with LIMS or other internal lab management software.
  • Strong time management, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work under high pressure to meet tight buyer deadlines
