Project manager - Marine Engines

The Project Manager is responsible for the customer order (project) from moment of order until delivery of the Caterpillar Engines. During the delivery process the Project Manager is the first point of contact between customer and Phu Thai Marine for all matters related to the customer order including product-, application- and installation issues. Internal communication and managing the internal process will be a significant task.

1. Set up and monitors/corrects the planning of all activities to the customer order together with the relevant departments.

2. Pro-Active communication with the customer for all matters related to the order including product, application and installation issues and status of the project.

3. Pro-Active and clear communication internally about the status of the project and if needed take corrective actions

4. Responsible for the administrative, technical and financial side of the project

5. Ensure satisfaction of the customer after purchase of Phu Thai Marine products .

6. Effective verbal & written expression of thoughts & ideas, ability to understand and be understood by others. Good quality of communication, information and products delivered to the customers and internally.

7. Complete projects at high level of responsibility with limited supervisor and meet dead line and budget.

8. Well identifies problems, gathers and analyses information, develops solutions and resolves the problems efficiently at soonest time. Remarkable initiative ability. Always provide new and feasible ideas to save time, cost & energy in the work procedures in his department/company.

Review, research the specification requirement and provide a sufficient solution to Quotation Team/Sales Representative/Technical Manager when requested

1. Bachelor degree at Technical University
2. 5 years of relevant working experience
3. Has strong knowledge of the CAT offshore/marine organization and products.
4. Has good knowledge of dealer commercial operations
5. Good English
