Job Description

As a Sourcing Specialist (Prospector) at Ozeol, you will play a front-line role in identifying new business opportunities for our sourcing and buying teams. You will use market insights and AI-driven tools to scan potential leads, qualify suppliers, and make the first contact to open new doors for our purchasing pipeline. This is a role focused on discovery, qualification, and relationship initiation, the starting point of our global buying process.

Market Research & Data Analysis

  • Analyze market trends in France to identify high-potential product categories
  • Use internal tools and AI to scan supplier data and map new opportunities

Prospecting & Outreach

  • Contact suppliers from a qualified database to introduce Ozeol’s concept
  • Qualify suppliers based on product relevance, stock availability, and collaboration potential
  • Identify key decision-makers and initiate first conversations
  • Maintain a strong and updated pipeline of qualified leads

Business Briefing & Internal Coordination

  • Prepare briefs to support the sourcing team in supplier activation
  • Provide necessary notes and context to help internal teams prioritize re-engagement
  • Share key lead insights and help assess initial feasibility

Reporting & Performance Tracking

  • Track KPIs such as contact rate, lead quality, and engagement success
  • Report weekly updates to your Team Leader
  • Suggest improvements in outreach strategy or lead qualification process

Job Requirement

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in sales, business development, procurement, or sourcing
  • Fluent in English
  • Proven ability to research, qualify, and inssitiate B2B opportunities
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Strategic, curious, and proactive mindset
  • Ability to use digital tools (AI tools, Excel, CRM) to support work
  • Strong sense of ownership, confidentiality, and ethical standards
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
