Purchasing Assistant

• Establish and maintain a reliable supplier network and supply chain.
• Source, negotiate, and purchase raw materials in a timely and cost-effective manner.
• Ensure the best possible combination of price, quality, and delivery service.
• Monitor market trends, collect market intelligence, and prepare regular reports on pricing, supply conditions, and commodity costs.
• Provide recommendations to Management on sourcing strategies and market positioning.
• Ensure raw materials meet quality requirements and coordinate with the Food Safety Manager to comply with BRC and other customer requirements.
• Represent the company when required.
• Maintain confidentiality of all business, commercial, technological, and supplier information.
• Ensure company assets, technology, and confidential information are protected from unauthorized disclosure.
• Arrange proper delegation of procurement responsibilities during absence.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Management.

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business Administration, International Trade, or related fields.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in Purchasing/Procurement, minimum 3 years in Food products.
• Strong negotiation, supplier management, and sourcing skills.
• Good knowledge of commodity markets and purchasing strategies.
• Strong analytical, reporting, and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Good command of English.
• Able to work independently and travel when required.
