Job Description

  • Support Procurement Department
  • Receive purchase requisitions for purchased items and manages approval process
  • Review supplier’s quotation / terms and conditions, negotiate contractions and monitor the quality of service provided
  • Resolve supply, quality, service and invoicing issues with overseas suppliers
  • Ensure all procurements are performed in accordance to company’s policies and procedures
  • Perform supplier re-evaluation periodically and ensure all required information, documentation; such as ISO Certificate, mill certificate are provided by suppliers
  • Perform regular benchmarks, sourcing activities to ensure a continuous cost control
  • Monitor and renew running contracts
  • Monitor in-house inventory (Consumables) and sufficiently replenished to meet outlets' demands
  • Maintain and update approved supplier list
  • Knowledgeable in handling Shipping documents, incoming shipment clearance will a plus
  • Any other ad-hoc task assigned from time to time

Job Requirement

  • Candidates with knowledge of oil & gas materials will have an added advantage.
  • Suitable for those who wants to seize the opportunity to advance their skills and knowledge
  • Minimum 2 years of purchasing experience in Marine & Offshore industry
  • Proficient in Microsoft office Applications
  • Proficient in English
  • Minimum diploma graduate in any discipline
