QA Assistant Manager (Garment)

Job Description

Our client is a foreign-invested company, now looking for a QA Assistant Manager (Garment, $1600, ID17545)

• Understand customer needs to develop effective quality control processes.

• Establish and review product/process specifications and SOPs.

• Set quality requirements for raw materials and suppliers.

• Identify improvement opportunities and implement efficient procedures.

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and legal regulations.

• Coordinate with the QC team to implement new quality systems.

• Oversee product development to detect deviations from standards.

• Inspect final output, approve quality products, and reject defects.

• Maintain documentation and conduct statistical quality analysis.

• Gather customer feedback and investigate complaints.

• Submit reports to senior management and monitor team performance.

• Conduct quality training and maintain an MIS for quality tracking.

• Participate in quality meetings and grievance discussions.

• Review reports and conduct vendor audits.

• Follow up on mill compliance and prepare quality issue summaries.

• Perform cost of quality analysis.

Job Requirement

• Male/ Female, under 50 years old
• Graduated from University
• 7 years of experience as QA Manager for a garment manufacturing company
• Experienced in making shirts and experience in Washing Dyeing
• Good at English
