1/ Job Purpose:
The Regulatory Affairs (RA) Sr Supervisor will lead all RA activities at Food services and Private label businesses including but not limit to reviewing new label design, update all new domestic and international regulations/laws, legal supporting R&D team in all innovation projects, handling all authority audits, coaching team on new/updated requirements...
This individual will understand and apply regulatory concepts through technical information and regulatory references to substantiate claims for new and existing products, supporting customer compliance and research requests.
2/ Job duties & Responsibility
- Ensure 100% compliance with domestic and importing markets for both current and new products.
- Ensure 100% new food ingredients/additives are in comply with both domestic and importing markets.
- Establish and maintain relationships with a wide array of internal and external stakeholders involved in policy-making/authority audits.
- Update, prepare and manage standard regulatory documents before submission to internal and external customers.
- Review product artwork and labels for compliance as needed
- Reviews and maintain ingredient and supplier documentation and ensure documents meet standards and other certifying bodies
- Responsible for product self-declaration (if any)
- Communicates with outside suppliers on behalf of regulatory affairs
- Serves as regulatory resource for 3rd party audit preparation
- Collaborates with R&D, Quality, Operations, Procurement and External Suppliers to support the needs across the business
- Supports customer compliance requests
