I. JOB PURPOSES
- Collaborate with developers and business analysts to understand requirements and define test scenarios
- Execute manual testing of mobile and web applications across different platforms and devices including all testing activities.
- Perform API testing to verify the integrity, accuracy, and performance of backend services
- Conduct database validation to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency
- Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts to cover all functional and non-functional aspects of the application.
- Log & track, and follow up on bugs using standard defect tracking tools
- Contribute to test documentation and reporting, including test results, defects, and status updates
- Actively contribute idea to continuous improvement of testing processes and quality standards within the team
II. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1. Testing and Quality Assurance
- Conduct manual and automated testing for web and mobile HR applications.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Execute functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing
2. Create and Maintain Test Plans, Test Cases, and Test Scripts
- Develop comprehensive test plans and detailed test cases.
- Write and maintain test scripts to cover all aspects of the application.
3. Design Test Cases and Write Scripts
- Design effective test cases to cover various scenarios and use cases.
- Develop and maintain scripts to streamline testing processes.
4. Execute Testing Activities
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing.
- Validate the software’s performance and reliability through rigorous testing methods.
5. Follow Up for Issue Verification and Bug Resolution
- Track and verify issues found during testing.
- Work closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution of bugs and issues.
