Quality Engineer (IQC Engineer)

1.   Supplier Quality Management (40%)

• Monitor supplier quality performance (PPM, defect trends, rejection rates).
• Investigate supplier-related quality issues.
• Issue Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCARs).
• Review and verify supplier corrective actions.
• Support supplier qualification and supplier audits.
• Work closely with suppliers to improve product quality and process capability.

2.  Incoming Material Quality Control (30%)

• Develop and maintain incoming inspection standards and procedures.
• Review material specifications, drawings, and customer requirements.
• Ensure incoming materials are inspected according to established plans and standards.
• Determine acceptance or rejection of incoming materials.
• Support containment actions for quality issues.

3.  Problem Solving and Corrective Actions (20%)

• Conduct root cause analysis using: 5 Why, Fishbone Diagram, 8D Methodology, Pareto Analysis
• Lead corrective and preventive action (CAPA) activities.
• Verify effectiveness of implemented actions.
• Prevent recurrence of quality issues.

4. Quality Data Analysis (5%)

• Analyze incoming inspection data and quality trends.
• Generate daily, weekly, and monthly quality reports.
• Monitor KPIs such as: Incoming defect rate, Supplier PPM, Material rejection rate, SCAR closure rate
• Identify opportunities for quality improvement.

3.  Other relevant tasks (5%)

·       Base on assignment from superior.

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Electronics, Quality, or related field).

Quality certifications are a plus (VDA 6.3 process acuditor, ASQ CQE, Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt, etc.).

At least 2 years experiences working for QC field and/ or same position in other company.

Coaching Skills; Supervisory Skills.

Strong understanding of:

• APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plan, MSA, SPC
• 8D Problem Solving, Root Cause Analysis
• IATF 16949 ,ISO 9001, or other relevant standards
• Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA)

Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications.

Data analysis skills using Excel, Minitab, Power BI, or similar tools.

Good communication and interpersonal skills and able to deal with all levels of personnel.

Self-motivated, resourceful, mature and able to work without supervision.

Well-structured, goal-oriented and transparent working.
