Position Summary
Responsible for leading quality improvement initiatives, solving complex quality issues, coordinating customer quality requirements, and ensuring product quality compliance throughout manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities
Quality Management
- Monitor and maintain product quality standards.
- Analyze quality data and identify improvement opportunities.
- Lead investigation and corrective actions for quality issues.
- Support implementation of quality systems and procedures.
Customer Quality
- Handle customer complaints and coordinate corrective actions.
- Prepare 8D reports and quality improvement reports.
- Participate in customer audits and quality reviews.
- Ensure customer requirements are effectively implemented.
Process Improvement
- Lead root cause analysis using tools such as:
- 8D
- 5 Why
- Fishbone Diagram
- PFMEA
- Drive continuous improvement projects to reduce defects and scrap.
- Monitor process capability and quality performance indicators.
Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain quality records and reports.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, customer standards, and company requirements.
- Support internal and external audits.
Team Leadership
- Provide technical guidance to Quality Engineers and Inspectors.
- Conduct training related to quality tools and standards.
- Support Quality Supervisor and Quality Manager in departmental activities.
