Based on the working area assignment at QE, the engineer will follow the KPI to work and to meet Product quality requirements;
Manage the quality of material (SQE) and direct Supplier for material issue solving during NPI/Mass Production process;
Fully understand the manufacturing process, control methods, measurement and quality system for developing product FMEA/CP for each SMT/WS/Box build level;
Manage the quality of new products transferred and developed on site. Drive the quality improvement and performance of quality systems, including management of change and notification protocols, root cause investigation, documentation and reporting and non-conforming reviewing;
Monitor the yield and pass rate of quality for continuous improvements. Facilitate Root Cause Investigations (RCI) related to process & materials which impact on final product performance and develop mitigation strategies to prevent excursions.
Job Requirement
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electronics/Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science/Engineering.
3+ years combined experience in Engineering, Quality or Continuous Improvement Engineering is required.
Experience with risk tools such as FMEA’s and understanding of statistical techniques including Control Charts, Gage R&R is required.
Good English communication skill in both writing and speaking.
Familiar with formal problem-solving methodologies such as 8D, RCCA, QC problem solving story, 5 why, FMEA, or others.
Experience working with suppliers or contract manufacturers on technical projects such as development, improvement, or problem solving related to electric material.
The implementation of the IPC-610 class 2, in order to meet production requirements.
Participated in the training of SPC/ISO/Lean.
