Quality Manager

Quality Team Management

• Develop and implement quality control processes, procedures, and policies to ensure that products or services meet or exceed customer expectation.
• Monitor and analyze data related to quality control processes, identifying trends, and making recommendations for improvement.
• Communicate with other teams, departments, and stakeholders to ensure that quality control processes are aligned with business objectives.
• Perform audits of quality control processes, identifying areas for improvement and making recommendations for corrective action.
• Manage and maintain quality control documentation, ensuring that all necessary records and reports are accurate and up-to-date.
• Participate in cross-functional teams to develop and implement new products or services, ensuring that quality control processes are integrated into the development process.
• Work closely with cross function teams for problem preventing and solving.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices related to quality control, sharing knowledge and insights with team members and stakeholders.
• Follow up all customer complaint, work with cross function teams for CAP.
• Define and manage the Quality Strategy for Leather Goods, contributing to and in line with the overall Supply Chain Strategy: execute QA strategy / procedures / standards, establish KPI for the quality team in line with the overall supply chain KPI.
• Responsible for review and share digital / physical product standards and key attributes to central quality team, hubs and distribution teams.
• Driving budget & monitoring spending to deliver results in line with planned objectives.

Quality Team Training and Improvement

• Lead and manage a team of quality control personnel, providing guidance, coaching, and supports as needed.
• Train team members on quality control processes, procedures, and policies, ensuring that they have the knowledge and skills necessary to perform their jobs effectively.
• New staff on board training

Quality Standard Setting

• Work with suppliers and vendors to ensure that raw material and components meet established quality standards.
• Review all new developed samples (styles), give necessary comments for any potential risk in production or construction issue.
• Join all the review meeting, work closely with Product Development / Technical Team for bulk production friendly.
• Check raw material and work with Raw Material and Production Management Team for bulk standard setting.
• Lead on site Pre-Production meeting with cross function teams, follow up the sample call out, share the good practice, discuss the check point and set up detailed quality standard.
• Review the Pilot run for all new styles, lead the pilot run meeting with cross function teams.
• Collaborate with technical, industrialization and production teams to set up quality standards on product and to manage quality elevation alongside with full process.
• In agreement with Technical department, revise and implement product standards on materials and finished products and define quality inspection guidelines.
• Raise and document all the quality risks related to new collection items, providing a complete risk assessment report.
• Responsible for co-validating the sealing sample for final product approval and for co-validating the pre-production samples replicating the sealed product across contractors and vendors.
• Set clear standard of each below standard based on each brand:

① Material Defect allowance

② Workmanship standard and allowance

③ Leather Goods Type workmanship allowance

Laboratory Operation

• Provide and follow up the test plan for materials, components, and finished product; ensure that test fail are addressed and solved in a timely manner.
• Make sure laboratory test SOP, standard, verifying results and judgement are following standard.
• Make sure laboratory test lead time and can catch up product development and bulk production.
• Make sure laboratory environment, facility, equipment and tool are maintained / neat / function.
• Laboratory test report are input and generate from system. And make sure test report are submit on-time.

IQC

• Make sure IQC team follow inspection procedure based on each type of material / WIP.
• Make sure IQC team inspection and judge result based on correct standard.
• Make sure IQC team use correct tool or equipment to get accurate inspection result.
• Make ensure lead time of IQC inspection.
• On-time inspection report submitting to relevant parties.
• Make sure IQC team conduct IQC quality meeting after inspection, to share result and material issues to relevant teams.
• Organize and share periodical vendor quality reports, returns performance, inspection reports & return analysis, to discuss and agree required improvements with industrialization / technical teams and vendors / contractors as needed.

Production QC

• Make sure production QC understand quality standard of each product, each brand.
• No discrepancy of quality standard between Production QC, Development QC, IQC and Laboratory. So quality standard is transparent through all quality team.
• Make sure production QC conduct correct operation, procedure, and strategies which management decided
• Ensure efficient operation and inspection.
• Ensure inspection result and data is accurate.
• Implement digital tools to make inspection work efficient and accurate.
• Ensure no any complaint from customer about bulk Finished Good or Top Sample Quality.

Development QC

• Make sure Development QC follow operation, procedure and strategies which management decided.
• Ensure efficient operation and inspection.
• Ensure data and documentation is accurate and correct.
• Ensure data, documents and standard will transfer from development QC at development stage, and transparent through quality team.
• Ensure Development QC check WIP and FG of samples on-time.

Other: Other tasks or projects assigned by management.

• Have more than 2 years of exeperience in Quality Manager in Garment industry
• Skills: Team management, Project / Time management, Communication, Problem solving skills, Basic Office (Word, Excel, Power Points) and ERP software operating skill
• Good at English (4 skills)
• Knowledge in global quality and production standards.
• Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to analyze data and identify trends.
• Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
• Knowledge of quality control processes, procedures, and policies.
• Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations.
• Business Trip for meeting, conference or training will be required.
