Job Description

Products: Powder Coatings

Working location: AkzoNobel Vietnam - Nhon Trach 1 Industrial Zone (Daily shuttle bus services from HCMC).

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead process improvements, standardization, and documentation across functions.
• Define and implement business and operational requirements.
• Manage customer complaints and drive process changes.
• Monitor, report, and improve process and quality performance.

Quality & HSF Management:

• Serve as Quality & HSF Management Representative, maintaining ISO and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee QMS and HSF systems, ensuring processes meet internal, customer, and certification requirements.
• Liaise with external parties on quality and HSF matters.
• Promote awareness of customer and HSF requirements across the organization.

Quality Control:

• Manage the QC department, ensuring finished goods and raw materials meet specifications.
• Oversee lab operations, equipment calibration, and team resourcing.
• Analyze data, prepare QC reports, and drive “Right First Time” improvements.

Other Duties:

• Plan and conduct internal audits and management reviews.
• Coordinate and support external and supplier audits.
• Lead corrective actions and cross-functional control plans.
• Identify training needs and drive continual improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with HSE policies and uphold safety standards.

Job Requirement

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• At least 8 years’ experience in Quality and HSF Management, with 2+ years in a similar role.
• Experience in chemical manufacturing preferred.
• Strong knowledge of ISO9001; Lead Auditor certification is a plus.
• Proven leadership, team management, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and fluent in English.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
