Job Description

  • Develop and implement R&D plans aligned with the company’s business strategy

  • Lead new product development (NPD) projects from concept, formulation, testing to commercialization

  • Improve existing products by optimizing formulation, quality, stability, and cost

  • Conduct lab trials, pilot tests, and coordinate scale-up to mass production

  • Work closely with Production, QA/QC, and Marketing throughout the NPD process

  • Support sensory evaluation and consumer testing activities

  • Ensure products comply with food safety, quality standards, and regulatory requirements

  • Manage R&D project timelines, budget, and technical documentation

  • Lead, train, and develop the R&D team

Job Requirement

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Food Technology, Food Science, or related fields

  • Minimum 5–7 years of experience in food R&D, preferably in FMCG

  • At least 2–3 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role

  • Strong knowledge of industrial food processing and food safety standards (HACCP, ISO/FSSC 22000)

  • Experience in new product development and scale-up

  • Good project management and cross-functional collaboration skills

  • Good command of technical English
