Regulatory Officer

Job Summary: Regulatory Officer is responsible for product proclamation on time in full before goods' arrival, controlling the product compliance with local regulations, expertise in regulatory advisory to commercial teams/ customers/ suppliers, updating the new legal documents regularly.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Collect documents, coordinate information and prepare food proclamation dossiers for new products as well as renewals to submit to Vietnam competent authorities on time in full before goods' arrival or to commercial partners.

2. Maintain regulatory files/ database in good order. Establish and maintain system for tracking changes in documents submitted.

3. To give advice on regulatory expertise to sales or other functions within the organization, customers or suppliers.

4. Work closely with Sales/ Lab team providing advice on regulatory aspects to build up the product specification for blending products legally and other matters.

5. Maintain current knowledge and study about local and international regulation/ guidance/ standards applicable to company products in compliance with Vietnam laws.

6. Support in providing updates on regulatory topics of interest regularly.

7. Check criteria and testing methods, perform the sample analysis with external laboratories as per sales or customers' request.

8. Manage Vietnamese sub-labels of imported goods and labels of local blending products to ensure the compliance.

9. Solve the problems relating to regulatory.

10. Build the relationship with relevant local agencies.

11. Other duties related to regulatory as assigned by superiors.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Food Technology and/or Master’s Degree would be an advantage

Experience: At least 2-3 years experience in related field

Others (specified):

• Fluent in English (verbal and written)

• Enthusiastic and service minded

• Ability to operate PC

• Good knowledge of food ingredients & food additives

• Expertise in product proclamation
