Job Description

As a Taproom Manager, you'll take ownership of the daily operations of the restaurant while ensuring exceptional service, strong financial performance, and an engaged team.

Restaurant Operations

  • Lead the daily operation of both Front of House (FOH) and Back of House (BOH) to ensure smooth and efficient service.
  • Maintain high standards of guest experience, food quality, hygiene, and operational excellence.
  • Resolve guest concerns professionally and continuously improve customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure company standards, SOPs, and health & safety regulations are consistently followed.

People Leadership

  • Recruit, coach, and develop a high-performing restaurant team.
  • Lead, motivate, and manage employees across different age groups and experience levels in a fast-paced craft beer environment.
  • Schedule staffing, monitor performance, and foster a positive team culture focused on accountability and collaboration.

Business & Financial Management

  • Monitor daily sales performance and work towards achieving revenue targets.
  • Manage labor costs, food costs, beverage costs, inventory, and operational expenses.
  • Review sales and cost reports to identify business opportunities and improve profitability.
  • Prepare operational reports and work closely with the Area Operations Manager to drive business performance.

Events & Community Engagement

  • Support and organize taproom events, promotions, and brand activations.
  • Ensure promotional materials and event execution meet brand standards.
  • Contribute ideas to enhance guest engagement and grow the business.

Job Requirement

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Restaurant Manager, Taproom Manager, or similar leadership role within the F&B industry.
  • Proven experience managing both Front of House (FOH) and Back of House (BOH) operations.
  • Experience working in a restaurant chain or multi-outlet F&B business is highly preferred.
  • Proficient in English with the ability to communicate confidently with both local and international guests.
  • Strong understanding of restaurant operations with experience monitoring sales performance, revenue, operating costs, labor costs.
  • Experience preparing or working with Profit & Loss (P&L) reports is a strong advantage.
