Job Description

JOB PURPOSE

The Sales Manager is responsible for developing and managing Suunto’s retail business in Vietnam across Sports & Outdoor and Consumer Electronics (CE) channels.

This role focuses on driving sell-in and sell-out performance, maintaining strong retailer relationships, improving in-store brand visibility, supporting product training, and ensuring smooth retail execution.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Retail Sales & Channel Management

  • Manage and support Suunto’s retail partners across Sports, Outdoor and CE channels.

  • Drive sell-in and sell-out performance with retailers.

  • Follow up on sales progress, stock movement, product availability and retailer performance.

  • Maintain retailer database, store status, contact list and sales updates.

  • Identify new potential retail partners, especially in sports, outdoor, electronics, tech lifestyle and chain retail channels.

Consumer Electronics Channel Development

  • Support Suunto’s expansion into CE channels such as electronics stores, mobile retailers and tech lifestyle stores.

  • Follow up on product listing, display setup, stock movement and campaign participation.

  • Ensure CE retailers understand Suunto’s positioning as a premium sports technology brand.

  • Monitor competitor activities from Garmin, Coros, Apple, Huawei, Amazfit, Shokz and other related brands.

Retail Display & Brand Visibility

  • Ensure Suunto products, displays, POSM and demo zones are properly maintained at retail stores.

  • Coordinate with retailers and marketing team to improve product placement and brand visibility.

  • Conduct store visits and display checks when required.

  • Support campaign display rollouts and visual refreshes.

Product Training & Retail Support

  • Conduct product training for retailer staff.

  • Help sales staff understand key product features, selling points and competitor comparisons.

  • Support new product launch training for retail partners.

  • Collect feedback from retailers and consumers, then report key insights to the team.

Retail Marketing & Promotion Support

  • Support retailer-level promotions, mini-events, launch campaigns and in-store activations.
  • Communicate campaign mechanics, pricing, promotion details and launch timelines to retailers.
  • Track campaign performance and provide feedback after execution.

After-Sales & Customer Support

  • Coordinate with retailers, distributor and service center to support warranty, service and product issues.

  • Help retailers understand after-sales process and basic product troubleshooting.

  • Ensure customer issues are handled professionally to protect Suunto’s brand image.

消费电子(CE)渠道拓展

  • 支持 Suunto 拓展进入 CE 渠道,如电子产品门店、手机零售商及科技生活方式门店。
  • 跟进产品上架、陈列搭建、库存流动及活动参与情况。
  • 确保 CE 零售商理解 Suunto 作为高端运动科技品牌的定位。
  • 监控竞争对手动态,包括 Garmin、Coros、Apple、Huawei、Amazfit、Shokz 等品牌。

零售陈列与品牌曝光

  • 确保 Suunto 产品、陈列展示、POSM 及体验区在门店内得到良好维护。
  • 与零售商及市场团队协作,提升产品摆放位置及品牌曝光度。
  • 必要时进行门店巡访及陈列检查。
  • 支持活动陈列布置及视觉更新。

产品培训与零售支持

  • 为零售门店员工进行产品培训。
  • 帮助销售人员理解产品核心功能、卖点及竞品对比。
  • 支持新品上市培训。
  • 收集零售商及消费者反馈,并向团队汇总关键洞察。

零售市场与促销支持

  • 支持门店级促销、小型活动、新品发布及店内推广活动。
  • 向零售商传达活动机制、价格、促销内容及上线时间。
  • 跟踪活动执行效果并在活动后提供反馈。

售后与客户支持

  • 协调零售商、分销商及服务中心处理保修、维修及产品问题。
  • 协助零售商了解售后流程及基础产品问题处理。
  • 确保客户问题得到专业处理,以维护 Suunto 品牌形象。

Job Requirement

Yêu cầu công việc

- 熟悉运动手表相关知识,尤其是 GPS 定位、心率监测、跑步模式及多项运动模式。

- 优先考虑有 智能手表使用经验,或有 跑步 / 骑行 经验者。

- 具备较强的 谈判能力及终端门店管理能力。

- 能够 频繁出差跑市场,并可 独立开展工作。

- 英语或中文 熟练者优先。

- 大学本科及以上学历,专业为 经济金融、工商管理 等相关专业。

- Solid knowledge of sports watches, especially GPS technology, heart rate monitoring, running modes, and multi-sport features

- Prior experience using smartwatches or participating in running/cycling activities is preferred

- Strong negotiation skills and point-of-sale (POS) management capability

- Willingness to travel frequently for fieldwork and able to work independently

- Proficiency in English or Chinese is a plus
