Purpose of the position:
The Sales Research Assistant is responsible for identifying and building high-quality prospect data to enable effective outbound sales and business development activities. This role conducts contact search and desk research, then maps and enriches contact and company information using automation tools to ensure data is accurate, complete, and structured. By delivering verified, actionable leads, the Inbound Sales Specialist helps improve prospecting efficiency, reduce manual research time, and increase conversion performance across the pipeline.
Job Accountabilities:
1. Leads Data Creation
- Build and deliver qualified prospect/contact lists in assigned segments aligned to ICP
- Manage and respond to inbound leads from all channels (website, campaigns, events, partners…) in a timely and consistent manner
- Collaborate with Marketing and BD to source for more leads, refine lead qualification rules, messaging, and follow-up processes.
2. Data Quality & Enrichment
- Qualify leads based on defined criteria (BANT / ICP / lead scoring) and route sales-ready opportunities to BD.
- Clean, complete, and structured records with validated email/phone, job title/function, company profile (industry, size, location, etc.), and source references.
- Track, analyze, and report inbound performance (response time, conversion rates, pipeline contribution).
3. Process & Automation Improvement
- Automate and continuously improve the research/enrichment workflow
- Execute automated and manual nurturing journeys via CRM to warm up leads and increase conversion.
- Maintained research SOPs, reusable templates, and automation flows for mapping/enrichment; documentation and handover to relevant teams when required.
