Seaonics Electrical Design Engineer

1. System Design and Development:

• Design and develop electrical schematics for offshore equipment, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Create detailed engineering drawings and technical specifications utilizing EPLAN P8 software.
• Adapt and configure software programs on the company’s equipment.
• Ensure all designs comply with safety and environmental regulations.

2. Technical Evaluation & Operational Support:

• Update engineering drawings and documents based on fabrication and testing changes.
• Collect and implement as-built revisions based on feedback from production sites.
• Perform as-built verifications to ensure equipment aligns with design specifications.

3. Technical Support & Collaboration:

• Participate in design reviews and FAT/ SAT testing, while providing technical support during fabrication, installation, and commissioning.
• Collaborate closely with engineering teams in Norway and Poland to ensure alignment on design goals and project requirements.

Qualifications:

 

Education:   

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• A Master’s degree in a relevant discipline is a plus.

Experience:  

• At least 3 years of experience in electrical design, with a preference for candidates from offshore engineering or related technical industries.
• Proven proficiency in using EPLAN P8 for engineering projects.

Direct experience working with offshore marine structures and multidisciplinary project environments.​​​​​​​

Technical Knowledge:

• Solid understanding of maritime industry standards, specifically DNV.
• Strong command of PLC SW (LD and FBD languages) and modern automation systems.
• Hands-on familiarity with Danfoss frequency converters (specifically NX and iC7 series).
