1. Logistics Planning, Coordination & FII Tracking: Follow up on, track, and update the status of Free Issue Items (FII) upon arrival in Vietnam; ensure accurate and timely updates in manufacturing communication channels, FII trackers, and transport task statuses in the IFS system. Coordinate local deliveries of FII, including transfers from Bonded Warehouses (BWH) to manufacturing sites or customers, ensure timely and accurate delivery. Monitor local logistics flows and proactively follow up on FII status to identify, communicate, and support the resolution of potential issues or delays. Coordinate closely with subcontractors, manufacturing plants, customers, and internal stakeholders to align logistics activities with production plans and delivery schedules. 2. Production Planning & Scheduling Support: Participate in production planning and scheduling meetings as required. Support the implementation and follow-up of agreed production schedules by ensuring FII availability. Communicate logistics constraints or risks related to FII availability that may impact production plans. 3. Systems, Data Management & Reporting: Utilize IFS and Power BI to identify, monitor, and track FII and related logistics activities. Maintain accurate, consistent, and up-to-date FII data across systems to support logistics planning, reporting, and decision-making. Provide timely and accurate FII status updates and reports to relevant teams upon request. Ensure registration, tracking, and closure of logistics-related issues raised by PFUP or other teams in the internal Jira system. 4. Warehouse & Inventory Follow-up & Coordination: Follow up on inbound and outbound movements of FII at manufacturing sites and customer locations based on requests from PFUP or relevant teams. Track and coordinate FII inventory movements within manufacturing sites and customer locations to ensure visibility and availability for production and delivery activities. Update and maintain internal warehouse tracking files to reflect FII stock movements, supporting coordination and alignment with manufacturing teams. Communicate FII stock status, movements, and discrepancies to relevant stakeholders to support operational planning and execution. 5. Transport Documentation & Customs Support: Provide accurate goods and shipment information to bonded warehouses, manufacturers, forwarders, or partners to support customs declaration processes. Coordinate and verify logistics-related documentation required for local transfers and customs clearance, in compliance with applicable regulations. Support logistics partners and internal teams with required data related to FII movements and deliveries. 6. Cross-Functional Support & Continuous Improvement: Provide logistics support to technical, production, project management, procurement, warehouse, and other internal teams. Act as a key point of contact for FII-related logistics matters within Vietnam. Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance FII tracking, data accuracy, and logistics workflows. Ensure logistics activities are performed in accordance with internal procedures and applicable regulations. Provide logistics support for yard operations and commissioning phases, coordinating with technical, commissioning, project, and site teams to ensure smooth execution of logistics-related activities.
Job Requirement
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, production planning, or a similar role within a manufacturing or project-based environment. Solid understanding of logistics-related regulations, including commercial regulations, customs regulations, and applicable trade compliance requirements. Hands-on experience in coordinating domestic and international transportation, supporting customs clearance procedures, and collaborating with logistics partners. Experience in logistics coordination within the mechanical or industrial sector is highly advantageous. Skills & Competencies: Fluency in written and spoken English and Vietnamese. Strong command of logistics processes, material planning, and transport management. Ability to work cross-functionally in a matrix or project-based organization. Good understanding of production planning and warehouse operations. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
