Seaonics Mechanical/ Painting Inspector

Key Responsibilities:

1. Quality Control:

- Conduct thorough inspections from raw material until final FAT, including visual assessments, measurements, and functional tests to ensure proper installation, alignment, and functionality of mechanical equipment.

- Verify compliance with drawings, specifications, and standards.

- Identify and document any deviations or non-conformities and initiate corrective actions.

- Generate detailed inspection reports, including findings, recommendations, and corrective action plans.

2. Technical Expertise:

- Possess a strong understanding of welding, machining, hydraulics, and assembly processes.

- Understand geometric tolerance symbols.

- Stay updated on the standards, codes, and regulations.

3. Project Collaboration:

- Collaborate closely with Project Manager, engineers, and contractors to ensure alignment with project requirements.

- Provide technical guidance and support to project teams.

4. Continuous Improvement:

- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement effective solutions.

- Contribute to the development of quality control procedures and work instructions.

Qualifications:

· Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

· Experience:

o Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Mechanical/ Painting Inspector.

o Have CSWIP 3.1 or FROSIO/BGAS/NACE certification is advantageous.

o Have knowledge of marine equipment, including Gangway, Lars (Launch and Recovery System), Crane, and Winch.

· Skills & Competencies:

o Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

o Fluency in written and spoken English and Vietnamese.

o Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
