Senior Accountant

Job Description

Role Objectives:

• Ensure Accounting system and policies to run smoothly related to reimbursement & invoices issues and reporting.
• Liase with Bank, Tax Authority for needed issues.
• Skill in prioritizing, teamwork and scheduling personal workflow.
• High independent and controlling ability

Job Descriptions:

• Control and execute bank payment transactions, ensuring compliance with processes and deadlines, particularly for payroll, tax, and insurance obligations for service clients.
• Record, monitor, and reconcile banking transactions to ensure accuracy and alignment with internal accounting records.
• Update and manage bank account information, liaising with relevant stakeholders to promptly resolve issues arising.
• Process expense reimbursements, reconcile revenue, and ensure transparency in business performance recognition.
• Provide accounting advisory support to relevant departments regarding company services.
• Perform periodic account reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Manage daily cash flow to secure financial resources for operations and optimize capital efficiency.
• Record and reconcile payables related to trade union contributions and other financial obligations.
• Participate in the development, update, and improvement of accounting processes in line with internal standards and certification requirements (e.g., ISO).
• Prepare tax declarations, monitor tax policies, and support compliance reviews in accordance with current legal regulations.
• Prepare periodic financial statements and provide data to support audits, analysis, and management decision-making.
• Perform other assigned tasks to ensure seamless and effective financial and accounting operations.

Job Requirement

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting - Auditing. Tax practising Certificate is nice to have.

• 3-5 years of working experience in accounting or auditing

• Demonstrates a sound application of accounting principles and processes. Maintains accounting systems which meet internal and external requirements.

• Good understanding of Vietnamese accounting standards, Tax circulars, regulations, policies, procedures and agreements, IFRS, financial report such as BS, PL…
• Candidates should have a growth mindset and a one-team mindset, good problem & solving skill, good stakeholder management skill.
