Senior Automation Enginner

JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and innovative Automation Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automation systems to improve production efficiency and reduce operational costs. The role requires hands-on experience with automation tools, scripting, and control systems to streamline workflows and ensure seamless integration with existing processes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design and implement automation solutions to optimize production, IT, and business processes.
• Develop, test, and deploy PLC, SCADA, HMI, or other control systems for manufacturing or IT environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and provide technical support.
• Maintain and upgrade existing automation systems to improve efficiency and reliability.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and industry best practices during automation implementations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to automation systems.
• Document system architecture, processes, and changes.
• Conduct training sessions for operators and staff on new automation solutions.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in automation engineering or a similar role.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C#.
• Experience with PLCs (Siemens, Schneider, etc.), SCADA, HMI systems.
• Familiarity with Industrial IoT (IoT) and Industry 4.0 concepts.
• Hands-on experience with robotic systems, vision systems, and sensors.
• Strong understanding of network protocols and cybersecurity best practices for industrial automation.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented environment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience with cloud-based automation platforms.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Certifications in industrial automation or related fields.
