Senior Frontend Engineer (Next.js/React)

Job Description:

• Lead end-to-end development of major features using Next.js (App Router, Server Actions, Middleware).

• Design and implement data-fetching, caching, and edge/serverless architecture to ensure scalability and reliability.

• Optimize Core Web Vitals (LCP, INP, CLS) and performance through code-splitting, bundling, and image/font optimization.

• Build accessible, responsive, and design-system-driven UIs with Storybook.

• Integrate securely with REST/GraphQL APIs, manage authentication (OAuth/JWT) and input validation.

• Maintain TypeScript, testing (Jest/Playwright), and CI/CD best practices.

• Monitor and improve system reliability via Sentry, OpenTelemetry, and performance metrics.

• Collaborate with PM, Design, and Backend teams to define technical plans and deliver measurable results.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience building React apps, with 3+ years in Next.js at production scale.

• Strong in React 18, React Query/Zustand/Redux, and modern CSS (Tailwind/SCSS).

• Solid understanding of frontend performance, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.

• Hands-on experience with edge/serverless (Vercel/AWS), CI/CD pipelines, and TypeScript.

• Excellent communication, collaboration, and ownership mindset.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with React Native and shared design systems (shadcn/ui, Chakra, MUI).

• Familiarity with A/B testing, analytics (GA4, Segment), payments, or real-time apps (WebSocket/SSE).
