As HALI continues to expand, we are looking for an experienced Senior Global Education & Mobility Counsellor to join our Ho Chi Minh City team.

THE OPPORTUNITY

This is not a traditional Education Counsellor role.

We are looking for someone with a strong foundation in International Education who is ready to broaden their career into Global Mobility and Global Citizenship advisory.

You will work with students, parents, professionals, entrepreneurs and high-net-worth families whose needs may extend beyond choosing a university or submitting a student application.

Education  →  Career  →  Global Mobility  →  Residency  →  Investment  →  Long-term Family Planning

You will have the opportunity to develop a much broader understanding of how international education connects with career opportunities, global mobility and long-term residency strategies.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

·  Advise students and families on study opportunities in Australia and New Zealand, including universities, schools and suitable education pathways.

·  Understand each client's academic background, career objectives and longer-term international plans.

·  Manage prospective students from initial consultation through application, offer, enrolment and pre-departure stages.

·  Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with students and parents.

·  Identify clients whose needs may extend beyond education into global mobility, residency or investment opportunities.

·  Introduce relevant HALI Global services and coordinate clients with the appropriate licensed migration adviser or specialist.

·  Develop knowledge of selected global mobility and investment programmes across New Zealand, Australia and Europe.

·  Participate in private client meetings, seminars, education events and partner events.

·  Work with HALI's growing network of banks, wealth management professionals, property partners, professional firms and other referral partners.

·  Maintain accurate client information and follow-up activities through the company's CRM system.

·  Contribute to building HALI Global Education's presence and client network in Vietnam.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

·  Minimum 3 years of experience in international education counselling, student recruitment, admissions, study abroad consulting or a closely related field.

·  Strong practical knowledge of Australia and/or New Zealand education pathways; experience working with universities, schools, education providers or education agents is highly regarded.

·  Proven ability to consult, build trust and manage clients through a structured counselling and enrolment journey.

·  Commercial awareness and confidence working toward enrolment, conversion and client-development targets while maintaining professional advisory standards.

·  Strong communication and relationship-management skills, with the maturity to work with parents, professionals, entrepreneurs and high-net-worth families.

·  Good English communication and professional writing skills; ability to work confidently with English-language programme information and partner communications.

·  Curiosity and willingness to learn beyond education, particularly in global mobility, residency and investment-related pathways.

·  High level of integrity, discretion and attention to detail when handling confidential client information.

·  Comfortable using CRM systems, Microsoft Office/Google Workspace and digital communication tools.

·  A collaborative mindset and willingness to work across education, migration, partnerships and business-development teams.
