Job Summary:
Responsible for developing, implementing, and continuously improving the preventive maintenance system to ensure high equipment reliability, minimize downtime, and support stable production operations. This role focuses on PM planning, instruction standardization, and maintenance effectiveness validation.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Preventive Maintenance Planning & Follow-up
- Develop and maintain the preventive maintenance (PM) master plan for all equipment.
- Schedule and coordinate PM activities to ensure timely execution with minimal impact on production.
- Monitor PM execution and ensure completion with effectiveness.
- Analyze maintenance data to improve PM strategy and reduce equipment breakdown.
2. PM Instruction Development
- Create, standardize, and update PM work instructions and checklists.
- Ensure instructions are clear, standardized, and aligned with requirements.
- Provide training and guidance to technicians for knowing why and how to PM execution.
3. PM Validation & Effectiveness
- Validate PM activities and measure the effectiveness.
- Optimize PM scope and frequency based on failure history and equipment performance.
- Apply tools such as Root Cause Failure Analysis, Mean Time Between Failures to analysis to improve maintenance performance.
- Continuously enhance the PM system to improve equipment reliability and accuracy.
- Communicate with shift to get the feedback, data of machines after PM and also warning, abnormality machines on the lines.
