Senior Preventive Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical)

The Senior Maintenance Engineer oversees the maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of complex automated equipment including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and control systems. The role ensures stable production through effective PM planning, equipment calibration, spare parts management, and reliability engineering practices. This position also leads improvement projects, upgrades equipment, and implements preventive and predictive maintenance strategies to increase equipment OEE.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITIES
• Be a successful development for PM supervisor at site to lead team

• Leading troubleshooting of difficult machine issues, making major A3 reports for major downtime (line stop). Find a solution to reduce or eliminate downtime of repeated issues.

• Build documents for Maintenance: Maintenance guide, PM Checksheet, PM plan; Arrange team to execute PM plan

• Ensure new machines & NPD fixture set-up, buyoff & hand-over successfully

• Improve machines, fixtures, processes, spare parts…. To optimize time and cost.

• Control Machine & Fixture document: Manual, Troubleshooting guide, Mechanical drawings, Electrical drawings, spare part list

• Provide training and tracking skill matrix for subordinating technicians

• Maintain team performance on Safety and 5S.

• Support TPM program: AM pillar, PM pillar

This position will be based in SHTP Factory, District 9, HCMC. Shuttle bus from District 1, 7, 10, 12/Go Vap/Binh Thanh, Binh Duong, Dong Nai is available

• • Bachelor degree of Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Automation.
• • 2 ~ 5 years experience in a similar role in manufacturing environment
• • Having experience on Troubleshooting and maintaining of Battery Pack production line is a plus
• • Having experiences at least one of the following machines:
• • Auto screwing machine o Laser welding machine
• • Electronic PCBA testing machine
• • Product scanning machine
• • Ultra sonic welding machine
• • EOL (End of Line) product function testing machine
• • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
• • English: Intermediate level and above
• • Experience in machine troubleshooting
• • Familiar with automatic machines, PLC, sensors, motors, cylinders…
