• Supervise the entire new product development process.
• Work directly with technical staff to ensure operations follow the technical requirements outlined in the issued guidelines, and ensure pilot data is accurate and reflects actual conditions.
• Report all issues arising during the Pilot run to the Engineering Manager.
• Fulfill all tasks and plans assigned by the Engineering Manager.
• Guide and train technical staff on Pilot runs and production team leaders.
• Oversee the entire production process to ensure it follows the established standard procedures.
• Support production in continuously improving defects to increase productivity, quality, and efficiency.
• Compile production documents and standards.
• Conduct continuous inspections during the pilot process to ensure the best quality according to requirements.
• Have knowledge of and be able to implement 5S, Kaizen, etc.
• Evaluate PQP data and assess new material suppliers according to the plan.
• Analyze Pilot and PQP data to assess whether the process meets quality standards before mass production.
• Graduated from a university with a major in chemical engineering, chemical technology, polymer composites, etc.
• Priority is given to graduates from Polytechnic University with a major in chemistry or materials technology.
• Able to read, write, and prepare documents in English; Japanese proficiency is a strong advantage.
• Capable of understanding technical documents; proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, AI and other relevant software.
• Strong time management and team management skills.
• Creative thinking, presentation, and public speaking skills.
• Able to work independently and solve problems effectively.
• Experience working with graphite/carbon fiber in products such as golf or tennis equipment is a plus.
