BASIC FUNCTION OF THE JOB :
Responsible for production output, productivity, quality issue and expense control. Improvement of manufacturing operations in TEC assembly processes. Focus on department projects towards cost savings, quality improvement, and capacity/capability expansion. Provide technical assistance to companywide departments as well as to Front End, System projects. Provide technical expertise in the field of ceramic metallization and material depositions for technical problem solving, process troubleshooting and new part or vendor qualification for supplies and raw materials.
1-Manufacturing process, development and improvement
- Lead and coach teams to achieve daily and monthly production targets through proper guidelines and corrective actions to resolve issues.
- Continuous improvement of manufacturing and support processes with cost reduction and capacity enhancement through a hands-on approach.
- Ensure successful transfer and handover of new processes and products within target timeline and cost.
- Conceive, propose, develop, and implement processes that support II-VI strategic objectives.
- Provide support for QRB submission requirements, qualification builds, and ensure new processes and process changes are released on time.
- Identify yield-impacting processes as potential improvement projects for evaluation.
- Apply and coach teams in the use of Lean, Six Sigma, and SPC for troubleshooting and continuous process improvement.
2- Manufacturing Process Support and Quality control
- Provide coaching and training to the team to solve problems promptly and select the right solutions to ensure continuous production.
- Address problem reports and ISO/customer audit findings immediately.
- Work with Marlow experts, suppliers, and manufacturers to troubleshoot and resolve process, quality, and machine issues.
- Monitor and control changes that affect quality or require QRB approval.
- Lead engineers and technicians in reviewing SPC data, and recommend new, revised, or replacement process control parameters based on quality feedback.
3- Product Development / Realization processes
- Re-search and contact technical support or vendor to develop consumable on site making project or local supplier
- Set up testing or DOE factors to improve process reliability, Cp, Cpk.
- Support Marlow Team and ADC to run prototype and develop new product or process
Educational Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electronic or Material Engineering or equivalent specialization.
Working Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree.
- Experience in Setting up of manufacturing facilities, including equipment design, procurement, facilities, and training.
Abilities:
- Knowledge of technical research and report writing.
- Conduct activities applying broad principles, theories, concepts, and technical knowledge within the relevant discipline.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams and achieve results through others.
- Ability to accomplish goals through effective execution of day-to-day assignments
