• Handle end-to-end purchasing process: RFQ, quotation analysis, commercial evaluation, negotiation, PO issuance, and delivery follow-up
• Lead price negotiation with suppliers to achieve best commercial terms (cost, payment terms, lead time), not just price comparison
• Take ownership of supplier sourcing: identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers to improve cost competitiveness and supply stability
• Challenge supplier quotations through cost breakdown analysis and benchmarking (local & overseas)
• Build and manage a reliable supplier base; continuously evaluate and optimize supplier performance
• Independently handle overseas suppliers: drive negotiation, align commercial terms, and secure commitments
• Follow up delivery schedule with suppliers and coordinate internally to ensure on-time supply
• Work closely with production, planning, warehouse, and technical teams to ensure smooth material flow
• Take ownership in resolving supplier-related issues (delay, quality, claim) with clear action and follow-through
• Maintain accurate purchasing data and ensure compliance with company procedures
• Support audit requirements (FSC, BSCI, etc. if applicable)
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, or related field
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in purchasing in manufacturing environment
• Proven experience in both local and overseas purchasing (must have)
• Strong negotiation capability with demonstrated cost saving achievements
• Hands-on experience in supplier sourcing and development (not only maintaining existing suppliers)
• Good understanding of Incoterms and commercial terms
• Able to work independently, take ownership, and handle pressure
• English: able to communicate effectively with overseas suppliers
• Experience with ERP system is an advantage
• Experience in furniture industry or related materials
• Familiar with Vietnam supplier market and international sourcing (China, EU, etc.)
