JOB DISCRIPTION
1. Inventory Monitoring
- Conduct regular stock audits and cycle counts to maintain high levels of inventory accuracy.
- Monitor inventory levels to identify and address discrepancies, stock shortages, and overstock situations.
- Reconcile stock discrepancies by coordinating with warehouse and fulfillment teams to investigate root causes and implement corrective actions.
2. Stock Movement and Coordination
- Work closely with procurement, fulfillment, and logistics teams to coordinate inbound and outbound stock flows.
- Track and manage stock transfers between locations, updating systems and ensuring accurate record-keeping.
3. 3PL Management
- Coordinate with 3PL to ensure timely delivery of inventory items, and address any issues related to stock irregularity for both outbound and inbound flows.
- Manage client/supplier relationships and communicate effectively to ensure service expectations are met or exceeded.
4. Inventory Reporting and Analysis
- Generate regular inventory reports, providing insights into stock levels, turnover rates, and demand trends.
- Analyze inventory data to identify slow-moving and high-demand items, supporting decision-making for stock optimization.
5. Stock Control Processes and Improvements
- Continuously review and improve stock control procedures to enhance operational efficiency and reduce errors.
- Collaborate with IT and operations teams to improve inventory management systems and processes.
6. Compliance and Documentation
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry standards in stock control and management.
- Maintain accurate documentation for inventory adjustments, transfers, and stock take activities.
- Support audits by providing necessary documentation and accurate inventory records.
