To ensure debt collection efficiency consistently meets established KPIs while maintaining VPBank’s non-performing loan ratio within regulatory thresholds, VPBank must continuously update its debt collection policies, processes, and systems in a timely and accurate manner across all segments, particularly the retail customer segment, which constitutes a significant portion of VPBank’s current portfolio. Additionally, this position is responsible for overseeing and monitoring VPBank’s debt collection activities to ensure ongoing compliance with VPBank’s internal regulations and applicable legal requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess limitations and areas for improvement in current debt collection processes and systems, and propose solutions to enhance debt collection effectiveness.
- Establish reporting standards for debt collection operations.
- Analyze debt collection performance and recommend improvements in both strategy and operations.
- Refine debt collection strategies; propose and organize pilot implementations of new strategies.
- Initiate Champion-Challenger testing programs, including proposal development, coordination with Collection Centers, implementation oversight, and results evaluation.
- Review the effectiveness of debt collection systems and processes.
- Propose enhancements to increase automation levels, labor productivity, and transparency in debt collection operations.
- Conduct audits of debt collection activities; provide feedback to the Head of Collection Strategy and Collection Center Directors regarding issues identified during strategy execution, and recommend measures to strengthen operational discipline.
- Collaborate on headcount budgeting for the debt collection department.
- Participate in or lead projects related to Artificial Intelligence (AI), Automation, collateral recovery, etc.
- Develop personal capabilities with strong expertise, high motivation, and ensure timely work completion.
