JOB SUMMARY
Support the Warehouse Manager in leading daily warehouse operations to achieve Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and People (SQDCP) objectives. Responsible for supervising warehouse operations, developing Supervisors, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring operational excellence.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Operations Management
- Lead daily warehouse operations (Inbound, Outbound, Inventory).
- Ensure productivity and service levels meet business targets.
- Allocate manpower and equipment efficiently.
- Monitor operational performance and resolve issues promptly.
2. People Management
- Lead, coach, and develop Warehouse Supervisors.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide regular feedback.
- Develop succession plans and strengthen team capability.
- Promote employee engagement and accountability.
3. Performance Management
- Monitor daily KPIs and implement corrective actions.
- Improve productivity, quality, labor utilization, and attendance.
- Ensure operational targets are consistently achieved.
4. Safety & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, SOPs, and company policies.
- Conduct safety audits, observations, and incident investigations.
- Promote a strong safety culture across the warehouse.
5. Continuous Improvement
- Lead Lean, Kaizen, and cost-saving initiatives.
- Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement sustainable solutions.
- Standardize best practices to improve operational efficiency.
6. Reporting
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
- Report KPIs, operational performance, and improvement progress to the Warehouse Manager
