SOFTWARE TESTER

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Software Tester will be responsible for ensuring the quality, stability, and effectiveness of the company’s ERP systems and enterprise software solutions. This role works closely with end users, Business Analysts, and the Development Team to analyze business requirements, execute testing activities, identify system issues, and support continuous system improvement. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and a good understanding of business operation processes within ERP environments.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Participate in gathering, analyzing, and clarifying business requirements from internal customers, end users, and related departments using the company’s ERP system.

2. Design and manage test cases, test scenarios, and requirement traceability throughout the product lifecycle.

3. Perform manual testing (with future orientation toward automation testing), including:

• Functional Testing
• Regression Testing
• Integration Testing
• UAT Support

Coordinate with the in-house Development Team to identify, track, and resolve system defects.

4. Support end-user training and post-deployment follow-up activities.

5. Participate in meetings with customers and internal teams to update requirements, demonstrate products, and extract/report system data based on user requests.

Preferred qualifications

·  Basic knowledge or experience of Business Analyst.

·  Familiarity with Jira, Redmine, or similar project management/testing tools.

·  Experience creating documentation on Confluence.

·  Ability to apply AI tools to support testing activities and improve productivity.

·  Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related fields.

·  At least three (3) years of recent experience as a Software Tester and minimum two (2) years of experience working with enterprise management software products.

·  Experience testing ERP systems related to trading, manufacturing, retail, or warehouse management.

· Basic knowledge of SQL Server for querying and extracting data.

·  Strong analytical and requirement synthesis skills with logical thinking.

·  Good communication and presentation skills.

·  Understanding of Agile/Scrum software development lifecycle.

·  Proactive mindset with strong teamwork spirit.
