Job Description

The Sourcing Specialist is responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and developing suppliers for precision mechanical and electronic components (Sensors, Metal material, PCBAs, etc.). Ensure a stable supply chain, competitive cost, on-time delivery, and compliance with technical specifications and quality standards.

  • Identify, evaluate, and develop suppliers for precision mechanical parts (e.g., CNC machined parts, sheet metal, casting, anodizing, powder coating, etc.) and electronic components/assemblies (e.g., sensors, PCB, PCBA...).

  • Request quotations and analyze pricing, lead time, and terms. Conduct cost benchmarking and lead price negotiations with suppliers.

  • Measure the effectiveness of sourcing strategies

  • Evaluate supplier capability in terms of capacity, quality, technical compliance, and delivery performance.

  • Work closely with Engineering, Quality, and Production teams to review samples, validate specifications, and approve new suppliers.

  • Follow up on PO delivery status, ensure on-time and complete delivery, and resolve any delivery issues or quality concerns.

  • Monitor market trends and material price fluctuations; provide recommendations for alternative sourcing or cost reduction.

  • Maintain supplier database, records of quotations, and sourcing reports.

  • Participate in supplier audits, support internal and external quality investigations when needed.

  • Ensure that the procurement activities comply with the relevant laws, regulations, and standards.

Job Requirement

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/ Technical background, supply chain management, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, and purchasing in electronic components or a CNC factory
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken
  • Experience in SAP
  • Knowledge of contract management, procurement laws, regulations, standards, and industry and market trends
  • Knowledge of sourcing and procurement processes, tools, and software
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and persuade others
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
