Sourcing specialist

1. Vendor Sourcing and Evaluation:

- Search & build relationship with reputable vendors, especially those supplying raw materials from China.

- Update information of alternative material on prices, trends.

- Evaluate, compare, and select suitable vendors based on criteria such as price, quality, delivery time and payment terms.

2. Procurement Process:

- Receive and process purchase requests from relevant departments.

- Create and send purchase orders (POs) to vendors, negotiating terms on price, quantity, quality, delivery time and payment methods.

- Monitor and manage orders from placement until goods are received in the warehouse.

- Collaborate with the warehouse department to inspect and accept the quantity and quality of incoming goods.

3. Support head of dept. to resolve issue management:

- Handle any issues that arise regarding vendor quality, quantity or delivery schedules.

- Regularly update relevant departments on the status of their orders.

- Resolve any disputes or complaints with vendors.

4. Reports:

- Prepare reports on procurement status, evaluate vendor performance, and propose improvement solutions.

·       BA in Import/Export, International Business, Business English, or a related field.

·       At least 3 years of experience in an Import/Foreign Purchasing position, experience in flexible packaging is a plus.

·       Thorough understanding of the purchasing process and supplier negotiation.

·       Knowledgeable about import procedures.

·       English: advanced; highly appreciated if can communicate with vendor as chinese language.

·       Meticulous, careful, and responsible in your work.
