SUPPLIER QUALITY ENGINEER

JOB PURPOSE:

• On supplier quality control, to ensure the high quality of incoming material and drive supplier quality continuous improvement

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Establish a good and clear WI or SIP.
• Confirm and check the incoming inspection result; handle the abnormality.
• Work with suppliers to improve parts, tools, materials quality.
• Arrange daily IQC work according to production feeding demand.
• Handle the abnormal material, follow up on the material complaints from the production line, and work with the supplier to take corrective actions.
• Accept the proposal and suggestion from IQC inspectors; handle the rational suggestion and feedback to the manager for things out of duty.
• Drive supplier set up high quality assurance team.
• Review and discuss the achievement of quality goals and improvement actions.
• Perform supplier evaluation for selecting or periodical audit.
• Check and confirm the non-conformance issue, verify the effectiveness, and follow up on its improvement of suppliers.
• Validate and control supplier process change and material change.

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical /Polymer /Material major
• 3-5 years of related experience (supplier quality or quality engineering), preferably in the automotive business and composites field.
• Knowledge of quality system requirements for IATF16949/ 5 core tools (APQP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, PPAP), 8D Report. Internal quality auditor, lean is a plus.
• Knowledge of quality inspection and quality assurance techniques, theories, principles, and drawings.
• Strong at supplier evaluation and management
• Good English communication skills.
• Good Microsoft Office skills.
