SUPPLY CHAIN FINANCE SPECIALIST

Responsibilities and Measures

• Supply Chain Finance:

  • Gather, organize, and analyze manufacturing costs to recommend efficiency improvements for direct labor, variable overhead, and fixed overhead.

  • Prepare and analyze COGs and transfer prices.

  • Assist in the preparation of monthly reports (purchase price and production usage variance, cost-saving initiatives, Capex, and operating expenses).

  • Partner with manufacturing and supply chain departments to provide insights for decision-making.

• Strategy, Planning, and Forecasting:

  • Support the creation of cost simulations for "what-if" scenarios regarding future business planning (new product development, new line investments).

  • Craft the master budget plan for standard costs, manufacturing costs, supply chain costs, procurement costs, and Capex investment.

• Administrative Functions: Perform routine daily activities, including reporting and documenting performance via URC assessment tools.

Nature and Scope

• Accountability: Oversees manufacturing costs, supply chain costs, and procurement commodity prices to contribute to informed decision-making and efficient resource use.

• Key Contacts: Frequent contact with Manufacturing, QA, R&D, Supply Chain, and Procurement departments to provide financial insights, validate cost-saving projects, and provide price forecasts.

• Education: University graduate in Accounting, Finance, Auditing, or equivalent.

• Work Experience & Skills:

  • At least 1-2 years of proven experience (FMCG industry or Big 4 Audit firm experience is a plus).

  • Familiarity with supply chain processes, manufacturing costs, budget analysis, and commodity prices.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, integrity, objectivity, confidentiality, and good communication skills.
