Sustainability Lead

Position: Sustainability Lead

1- Main duties:

• Achieve the sustainability goals for Cashew sourcing in Vietnam, ensuring alignment with Olam’s global CR &S policy
• Lead and manage all the sustainability initiatives, farmer-outreach projects of Olam Cashew, Vietnam
• Presentation and reporting on the progress of the various projects/initiatives
• Audits & Manage the internal sustainability external certifications/reports (Ethical sourcing, Rain Forest Alliance etc)
• Integrate Olam’s digital tools/apps in the on-going projects and champion the Digital Olam cause
• Communication & creating the buzz with internal & external stakeholders on all aspects related to the sustainability activities of Olam Vietnam

2- Key Skills:

• Knowledge of sustainable agriculture practises, Carbon credits, Certification
• Agronomy knowledge of Cashew preferred.
• Strong networking & collaborative skills for working with variety of internal departments & external groups like local government or NGOs etc
• Excellent presentation, report writing & communication skill
• Good command over Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word etc
• Fluent in English – written & spoken
• Willing to travel up-country for project related work

3 - Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Agronomy/Agriculture, Environmental sciences, Development Studies etc
• Minimum 5-6 years of experience in similar work with NGOs, MNC etc
