Tax Specialist

Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Tax Specialist to join our team. This position is responsible for managing all tax-related activities in compliance with Vietnamese tax regulations and framas Group policies. You will ensure accurate tax declarations, audits, and advisory services, while contributing to effective tax planning to maintain compliance and minimize financial risks.

Tax Compliance & Reporting

· Ensure all tax activities comply with Vietnamese tax laws and Group policies.

· Prepare, review, and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual tax declarations (VAT, CIT, PIT,..) accurately and on time.

· Review accounting entries, invoices, and contracts to verify tax codes and amounts.

· Reconcile tax data between accounting systems and tax reports.

· Maintain tax files and supporting documents for audit readiness.

· Support annual financial statements and ensure tax figures align with VAS and Group reports.

Tax Audit & Risk Management

· Manage tax audits and inspections, prepare required documentation, and coordinate with relevant departments and tax authorities.

· Liaise with tax officers or external auditors to clarify and resolve tax issues.

· Analyze audit findings, recommend corrective actions, and ensure implementation.

· Identify potential tax risks and report them with action plans.

Tax Planning & Advisory

· Analyze new business transactions and projects for tax implications.

· Research tax incentives and benefits under Vietnamese regulations to optimize tax positions.

· Support transfer pricing documentation and related-party transaction reviews.

· Collaborate with external consultants on complex tax matters.

Continuous Improvement & Internal Support

· Monitor changes in tax laws and communicate updates to relevant departments.

· Work closely with internal teams to ensure accurate tax reporting.

· Suggest improvements to tax workflows and documentation systems.

· Support internal training sessions on tax compliance and updates.

* Working time: Monday - Friday: 8:00 - 16:30, Saturday: 8:00 - 12:00 & 1 Saturday off per month
* Shuttle bus provided from Ho Chi Minh (Hang Xanh - Thu Duc)/ Dong Nai (Bien Hoa) to Long Thanh Industrial Zone

Job Requirement

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities 

• Strong knowledge of Vietnamese tax regulations, including CIT, VAT, PIT. 
• Familiarity with VAS (Vietnam Accounting Standards); knowledge of IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in data management and reporting.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills when working with both internal teams and tax authorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Demonstrated integrity, responsibility, and the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Education & Working Experiences

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5–10 years of relevant experience in tax compliance, planning, and reporting.
• Prior experience working in a Big 4 accounting firm (PwC, Deloitte, etc.) is strongly preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing or multinational company environments is an advantage.
