Job Description

Our client, a leading global manufacturer of interconnect solutions is expanding its operations in Vietnam with a high-tech facility in Thang Long II Industrial Park, Hung Yen to produce advanced connectors, cables, and optical devices looking for an Operation Manager with below detail:

  • Partner closely with Product Managers to ensure technology projects fully support customer finished‑goods deliverables.
  • Lead multiple NPD projects simultaneously, including both customer‑specific and general market programs.
  • Develop clear internal and external Project Charters defining strategy, scope, financials, and schedules.
  • Own project communication and reporting to both management and customers.
  • Manage project change control, decision documentation, and governance processes.
  • Lead project planning, execution, and closure, including transfer to production ownership.
  • Develop and manage macro project schedules; hold functional teams accountable for supporting micro schedules.
  • Mentor and guide team members on project management principles, PDP processes, risk management, issue resolution, and decision‑making.
  • Proactively identify, document, and execute risk mitigation actions related to cost, quality, and schedule.
  • Work closely with suppliers to ensure alignment with Company expectations on timing, cost, and quality.

Job Requirement

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or related field
  • Minimum 4 years of project management experience
  • Proven experience leading product development or NPD projects
  • Experience in customer‑facing or external executive‑facing roles
  • Experience leading multi‑national teams in a matrix organization
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (up to 15%)
  • Ability to work flexibly to accommodate global meetings
  • Strong preference for candidates fluent in both English & Chinese (Mandarin)
  • Natural leader with strong sense of ownership and accountability
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder‑management skills
  • Self‑driven, proactive, and comfortable working in global or remote environments
  • Contribution‑minded with a strong “can‑do” attitude
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and decision‑making skill
  • PMP certification is preferred
  • MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred
  • Experience working with SAP is preferred
