Job Description

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Engineering Coordinator Intern to support our Lab Testing team. In this role, you will assist with product testing support tasks within the new product development lifecycle, including preparing the test write-up, test document compilation, test result analysis, test report, finalizing report and data collection. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in product testing and engineering support.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Test Write-Ups
    • Review and compile all relevant drawings, documents, and specifications for engineers.
    • Coordinate with the CAD team when needed to create build and test setup drawings.
    • Organize and store documents in the testing folder and upload them to the LMA system.
    • Ensure data accuracy and completeness in accordance with internal guidelines.
  2. Test Document Compilation
    • Review and verify all required documents: Test Information, Production Drawing, Test Set-up Drawing, and any additional materials to ensure they are the latest versions.
    • Combined and standardized all documents into a single PDF package for accurate and consistent lab test setup.
    • Store all relevant documents in the testing folder and upload them to the LMA system.
    • Ensure the accuracy and completeness in accordance with internal guidelines.
  3. Test Result Analysis
    • After testing, assist engineers in processing raw data and generating test result graphs or defining the load deflection at ASD/LRFD/LSD/Nominal Loads.
    • Use calculation templates to input test information, results, and assist engineers in analyzing data to determine product capacity.
    • Ensure the accuracy and completeness in accordance with internal guidelines.
  4. Test Report
    • ​​Consolidate test information, drawings, results, photos, and analysis into a standardized Word draft report after engineer approval of test results.
    • Organized and stored all related documents in the testing folder and copied the draft report to the Engineering folder.
    • Ensure the accuracy and completeness in accordance with internal guidelines.
  5. Finalizing Test Report and Data Collection
    • Review the completed test reports, send reminders to the engineer if PDFs are missing, and update status in LMA as needed to ensure all information is organized and accessible.​​
    • Enter test information and test results into the database accurately.
    • Maintain a high standard of professionalism throughout this process.

Job Requirement

  1. Qualification​​
    • Currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Engineering Management, or related fields.
    • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in handling data and documents.
    • Good organizational and time management skills.
    • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
    • Ability to work collaboratively and handle multiple tasks
    • Ability to follow processes, checklists, and instructions carefully.
  2. Skills
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

    • A careful, responsible, and supportive working attitude.

    • Ability to work with numbers, invoices, and structured data.
