Job Description

1. Promotion Effectiveness Analysis

· Collect and consolidate data on sales, inventory, and promotional spending per campaign.

· Assess the impact of trade promotions on sales volume, sell-through rates, and distribution coverage.

· Compare planned vs. actual performance: customer participation, actual spend, and sales uplift.

· Analyze results by region, product category, SKU, or customer segment within the GT channel.

2. KPI Tracking and Reporting

· Develop and maintain periodic reports (weekly/monthly/quarterly) to monitor trade marketing performance

· Track key metrics such as promotion ROI, sales growth rates, sell-in/sell-out data, and store activation numbers

3. Cross-Functional Collaboration

· Work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams to ensure smooth and efficient execution of trade activities

· Provide analytical support to help Sales teams adjust strategies based on market data

4. Market Intelligence (GT-focused)

· Monitor competitor trade activities in the GT market (promotions, pricing, visibility).

· Analyze shopper behavior in traditional trade environments

· Recommend adjustments to promotional plans based on field trends and market dynamics.

5. Strategic Recommendations

· Based on data insights, recommend more effective trade programs tailored to different regions or customer segments · Proposing new promotion models that align with consumer behavior and purchasing patterns in the GT channel

6. Other tasks assigned by the line Manager

Job Requirement

1. Education background

- Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in Business, Economics, Marketing, or related fields

2. Working Experience

- Knowledge of FMCG distribution channels, trade marketing, and retail operation is highly preferred

- At least 2-3 years of experience in Trade Marketing, Sales Analytic, or a similar role

3. Competency

- Proficient in Excel, Power BI/Tableau, and data analysis tools.

- Strong analytical skills, data-driven thinking, and the ability to interpret business metrics.

- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

- Knowledge of the General Trade channel and its market dynamics is a strong advantage
