About the role:
As a Trade Marketing Executive (focus event), you will play a key role in conceptualizing, planning, and leading campaigns, seasonal activations, decorations, and trade promotion activities. This position requires not only strong executional capability but also marketing acumen, with the ability to collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to drive footfall, strengthen tenant collaboration and to ensure all activities are carried out smoothly, on time, and in line with company's brand standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. Event Strategy & Execution (80%)
- End-to-End Project Management: Oversee all event stages from conceptualization to execution, including venue sourcing, attendee registration, and onsite management.
- Concept Development: Collaborate with creative teams to design engaging event concepts aligned with brand identity and commercial goals.
- Vendor & Agency Management: Source, negotiate, and manage third-party partners (exhibition contractors, agencies and logistics providers).
- On-site Supervision: Lead the team during setup and live days to ensure flawless execution and immediate problem-solving.
- Performance Analytics (ROI): Track and report on key metrics (footfall, lead generation, conversion rates) to provide actionable insights.
2. Procurement & Logistics Management (15%)
- Purchase & Order Coordination: Manage the full procurement process for marketing materials, including raising Purchase Requisitions (PR), tracking Purchase Orders (PO), and ensuring timely payment to vendors.
- Product Logistics: Coordinate the end-to-end movement of products and marketing equipment for events and trade activations, ensuring zero loss and on-time delivery.
- Inventory & Warehouse Oversight: Maintain accurate records of marketing assets and premium gifts to optimize stock levels and prevent shortages.
- POSM & Display Production: Oversee the technical production of Point-of-Sale Materials (POSM). Ensure all display units, booths, and shelving meet premium quality standards and brand guidelines.
3. Strategic Support & Reporting (5%)
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with Sales and Digital Marketing teams to ensure offline activities are amplified online and drive direct sales growth.
- Budget & Team Leadership: Manage the annual trade marketing budget and mentor junior team members to foster a high-performance, operationally excellent culture.
- Other tasks as assigned by the Manager level.
