Job Description

CJ Foods Vietnam is looking for a commercially minded and analytical talent to join our General Trade team.

In this role, you will turn market insights and sales data into actionable channel strategies, working closely with Regional Sales, Marketing teams to drive sustainable growth, strengthen product performance, and expand our presence across the GT channel.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Market & Business Insights

  • Analyze market trends, consumer preferences, competitor activities, and channel dynamics to identify growth opportunities within the General Trade channel.
  • Monitor product and sales performance, identify key growth drivers and performance gaps, and recommend actionable improvements.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly sales performance reports to support business decision-making.

Channel Strategy & Growth

  • Develop annual, quarterly, and monthly GT channel strategies based on market insights, business priorities, and sales targets.
  • Recommend the right product assortment, programs, and market approach to drive channel growth.
  • Build go-to-market strategies for new product launches and initiatives to grow existing products and market share.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of pricing and promotional activities based on sales performance, costs, and market trends, and translate key learnings into future actions.

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with RSM, Marketing teams to turn strategies into effective execution in market.
  • Ensure alignment between channel plans and field execution, identify gaps, and support corrective actions when needed.

Job Requirement

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in Strategy, Sales Planning, Commercial Planning, or Trade Marketing within FMCG, preferably with exposure to the GT channel.
  • Good understanding of FMCG market dynamics, General Trade channels, and sales strategies.
  • Strong analytical and planning skills with the ability to turn data into actionable business insights.
  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Power Pivot is an advantage.
  • Good communication, presentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
