UT ENGINEER – JLPT N2

− Ultrasonic Testing:

• Perform ultrasonic inspections on welds and specific areas as per design drawings and standards.
• Analyze and evaluate inspection results, and create detailed inspection reports.

− Reporting:

• Prepare reports on inspection results and the quality of steel structures.
• Analyze defects (if any) and propose corrective actions.

− Acceptance Testing: Participate in acceptance meetings and product handover.

− Technical Updates: Research and update on new standards and regulations for ultrasonic testing of steel structures.

− Support: Assist in other department tasks as assigned.

−         Education: University degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction, or related fields.

−         Language: Japanese JLPT N2 or English to read and understand specialized documents.

−         Age: 24-50, Male.

−         Preference: Vietnamese or Japanese nationals with work and living experience in Japan, meeting all the required qualifications for the position.

−         Experience:

• At least 3 years of experience in ultrasonic testing of steel structures.
• Holder of a Japanese Steel Structure UT Inspection Certificate.
• 建築鉄骨超音波検査技術者　鉄骨技術者教育センター(Steel-Fabrication Enginees  Education Center)
• Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) of Standard AWS QC1 or equivalent Japanese certification.

−         Knowledge:

• Solid understanding of ultrasonic testing principles and methods.
• In-depth knowledge of common defects in steel structures and their evaluation.
• Familiarity with standards and regulations for steel structure quality control.

−         Skills:

• Proficiency in using ultrasonic testing equipment and machinery.
• Ability to analyze data and prepare reports.
• Excellent communication skills, and ability to work independently and in a team.
